I hope you're all having a great week so far..
I finally got my Rachel Ashwell August Chairs a few days ago...
I am in LOVE.
So comfortable and machine washable seat pads with ties..so pretty and functional.
I bought eight of them so plenty of seating for family and friends.
BUT..now Ive realized I need to paint my table white..
that is my weekend project...hopefully it turns out ok.
I bought some beautiful pink roses at the grocery store today...
It's impossible to pass up beautiful roses..
(Dont mind the ugly eye sore gold fireplace screen, we are going to replace those soon hopefully )
lol
My little Claire has found another favourite spot to perch...
She is loving her new house...
So many large windows to watch the birds.

Your new chairs are lovely. I am in love with those roses..they look perfect! It is hard to pass roses like that up. Enjoy your new things!
I love your new chairs! Your farmhouse table looks just like mine. Did you get it at Restoration Hardware? I think your table looks great the way it is, but I can see that you're wanting to lighten things up in there. Can't wait to see everything done!

I love the way your chairs look with your table...do not paint that table. be different.what I do I have an old dark tressel table with great chairs just through a linen cloth in white over it...beter then painting the lovely pine. enjoying your decorating journey Rachel. xo Laura
Sounds like you are finding joy in your new home! Your new chairs are wonderful! Your dining table looks a lot like my our new one. My very first peony {that I ever planted} is opening up today. :)
LOVE your new chairs!! Cross back chairs are one of my favorite types of dining chairs (my pinterest board is full of them!) They will look wonderful with a white table!
Ooooh love those chairs. I was thinking of buying just one since the shipping is free right now. I think it looks great with your table as is. a ruffly white table cloth will do the trick. So are the chairs made well? sturdy? They look better in your photos than on the website...I couldn't tell from the website how well they are made. Enjoy ox love your wall of windows!

Kerrie~ Yes I am pretty happy with the overall quality! :) They are light weight but very sturdy and super comfortable.(husband and sons approve!!) You should get one..you could always just use as a home office chair and if you love it you could buy more. And Karen Sue I LOVE your idea about the annie sloan paint. Gorgeous chairs and I can't wait to see your table painted. That will be a job for sure. I painted my 4 chairs and table base in a French Gray last year and it took me all week!

Love the chairs, lucky you!! I think the table top looks awesome with the chairs....I would just paint the sides and legs....I am using a picture I have out of a rachel book with legs painted white natural top for my inspiration in my home. You house is looking lovely! Wish I could have the august chairs but am working on an early american style set that we got. Can't wait to see what you do!
