Roses...

Hi friends

Just a few photos around my house of my mothers day roses...

starting to fade and wilt but still so beautiful to me...

My favourite light faded pink..

A sweet single creamy rose from my oldest son Christian...

So special to me...

My family and I are flying to Florida tonight for a vacation and visiting my friend Tausha 

I will be sure to take alot of photos ~ will be back the end of next week!

Dreamcatchers and visiting a blog bff.....

Hi friends

I hope you're all having a great week so far..

I just received another beautiful dreamcatcher from my friend Tausha.

This one is huge and so beautiful...

She knows how much I love shells and added little shells and beads..

I decided to put both of them on my large white brick fireplace wall...

I'm sure I will end up moving them around a bit but for now this is where they will stay.

I'm so excited because my family and I are headed to Florida for a vacation and guess who I will be visiting while I'm there??!!

TAUSHA!!

I can't wait  to see her beautiful home in person and meet her darling family..

I will be sure to take lots of photos of our time together and share with you all.

I never imagined when I started following her blog a year ago that we would become blog bffs!

 lol

I will be back in a week and a half  and share photos.

Blessed....

I'm so blessed to be called "mom" by the sweetest boys...my two sons.

Becoming a mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I'm grateful for every moment I've had with them.

I bought these beautiful flowers for myself today when I went to purchase Mothers Day arrangements for my  mom and grandmother.

Hoping my hubby remembers how much I love faded lavender and pink roses...hint..hint.

Feeling the LOVE...

Hi friends

I know Ive been posting alot this week, but it seems I have alot to share. lol.

I received this beautiful union jack throw in the mail today...

Handmade with love by my sweet friend Sherry.

It is huge and perfect for my large wall in my new living room.

The colours are beautiful and the shabby chic fabrics are so pretty.

THANK YOU so much Sherry ~ I will always cherish this piece.

Also to my surprise today I received this lovely glass candleholder by Glassybaby in the mail,,,

The note inside just read " With Love " 

but 

no info as to who sent this lovely gift.

THANK YOU to whoever was so thoughtful to send me this candle holder. I have always wanted one of these. I would have chosen this exact one in white also, so whoever sent it definitely knows me well.

I feel so loved today thanks to two sweet and thoughtful friends.

Rachel Ashwell August Chairs....

Hi everyone...

I hope you're all having a great week so far..

I finally got my Rachel Ashwell August Chairs a few days ago...

I am in LOVE.

So comfortable and machine washable seat pads with ties..so pretty and functional.

I bought eight of them so plenty of seating for family and friends.

BUT..now Ive realized I need to paint my table white..

that is my weekend project...hopefully it turns out ok. 

I bought some beautiful pink roses at the grocery store today...

It's impossible to pass up beautiful roses..

(Dont mind the ugly eye sore gold fireplace screen, we are going to replace those soon hopefully )

lol

My little Claire has found another favourite spot to perch...

She is loving her new house...

So many large windows to watch the birds.

Slowly but surely....

 Hi everyone

We finished moving (finally) and I took a few photos of our new house...
Slowly but surely it is starting to feel like home.

Loving the view of Puget Sound from all the large windows

and how light and airy the rooms feel.

In this house I'm going to decorate with a mix of beach house and shabby chic style..

I love being so close to the waterfront.

Claire found her favourite spot already..

Found this shell mirror at an antique shop today..

Still unpacking..dont mind the mess..this is the view of our dining room going into the kitchen.

I ordered 8 of the Rachel Ashwell August chairs so I am excited for them to arrive. I think they will be great in this space.

Our flatscreen tv will be going on this shabby chic console but for now just my inspiration board

So far this is my favourite room..its pretty large and I love the windows.
