~ Pretty Lilacs ~ A simple way to display photos

I was rearranging and fluffing my nest today
I decided to fill my enamel pitcher with lilacs from my front yard
I love their beautiful smell and color

I took a favorite old photo of my grandfather and simply tucked it under some twine on one of my lavender sachets from Dreamy Whites
Another photo of him I just casually placed on the plate next to the bowl
It's a simple way to display old photos
I think it makes a pretty and personal vignette

I put another old photo inside a petite white frame made from reclaimed wood
I love the chippy patina

Overall I am very happy with how it all came together
Simple and pretty

Thank you so much for your sweet Mothers Day comments
I hope you all had a wonderful day
Hugs,
Rachel

oh my gosh, I just LOVE your house! I love when you show us full pictures...I get lots of good ideas. :)
This is such a good idea - I always struggle with photos. I like them but think they seem busy and have a hard time displaying them. I love that this is so simple and doesn't scream photo.
Very pretty!

What a lovely vignette you have put together! Putting the little photo tucked into the pillow bundle is a great idea! I have an order from Maria arriving soon & I am so excited about it! Aren't lilacs the best? I hope mine will last awhile! Have a nice week!
Hugs,
Lara :)

absolutely love that pop of lilac colour against the beautiful white backgrounds. I was just mentioning on my own blog today how I just cant go past a white backdrop of walls. I am seriously considering selling all my furniture and starting over again! Thats whats great about being a vintage merchant :0)
