My favourite spot in our 1930s home is the cozy nook off of our kitchen
This is where my husband and I have our morning coffee and my boys and I talk about our day in the evening
I love the original built ins where I display and store my collection of white ironstone and entertaining pieces.
It's my favourite spot to sip coffee while reading a new decorating magazine
or sit and talk to a good friend
I like to change out the pillow covers and add fresh flowers to make the space even more cozy and comfortable
($1.99 thriftshop pillow fabric)
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend
I have enjoyed visiting your beautiful blogs
Hugs,
Rachel

You have one of the most beautiful homes...I love when you show us your beautiful rooms...it's always so light.
If I could change anything about my house, I would have a little nook. Your's is so pretty - I think it would be favorite spot also. The pillows were a perfect find - don't you love when that happens! You'd never get me to leave if I lived closer. :) Maybe I would, I'd just move to that awesome farmhouse table!

I think what's so great about older homes are the pretty little nook and crannies that modern homes just don't have.
Your favorite spot is just darling Rachel. We used to live in a 1920's Farmhouse and had little sitting areas, as well as other charms, built in hutches etc. That I do miss!
I totally agree with Tami, Rachel. Older homes just have that special something.... charm... coziness... that are hard to find with new homes. I guess that's why I love our old farmhouse so much, even though the rooms are smaller. :) Love your sweet little nook and the way you've styled it!
