~ Fleamarket Finds and Friendship ~

Hi friends
My sweet friend Tracie and I went to the Funky Junk Sisters Fleamarket yesterday

I found this antique wooden shoe rack and fell in love at first sight.
I remembered that Rachel Ashwell has a very similar one that she uses in her home and knew I had to take it home wth me asap! :)

My friend Tausha has a similar looking one that a friend made for her (lucky girl!)
I love how it looks in her dining area.(below)

(Tausha ~ Simply Me)

My other fleamarket find is this beautiful very shabby chippy and old mirror
~love~

I like how the rack looks with my pine farm table
It really helps warm up my room of whites

My mantel

I purchased this shabby antique mirrored box and beautiful dusty pink millinery hat also

Perfect place for my decorating magazines

I love the antique shabby mirrored box
I have never seen one like it

I'm not sure if I will keep the rack here or move it to the dining area

I took alot of photos! :)

Tracie and I had such an amazing time at the Funky Junk Sisters Fleamarket

(Tracie and I)

Tracie has the wonderful blog Fishtail Cottage
Not only is she beautiful but she is truly the sweetest person Ive met in a long time
This was the first time we met in person since finding eachothers blogs a year ago
Now we already have plans to go antiquing in Snohomish soon! :)
We truly are soul sisters for sure!!
Little did I know last year when I started my blog  that I would have such amazing new friendships!

xo,
Rachel

Rachel!
Firstly...Thank you for introducing me to Tracie. I cannot believe that I have missed visiting her beautiful blog.

Your new treasures are perfectly placed at 425. I also love the way you have clustered your sanctuary votives. They remind me of my visits to the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur at Montmarte!

Hi Rachel ! Wonderful finds (and house of course). Here in France we have that kind of mirror boxes : They were fashinnable during the fifties. You can also find them in pink (one of the fav colours of the 50th)
