~ Checking in ~

(Shabbyfrenchforme)

Hi friends
I wanted to check in with you and let you know why Ive been so absent from blogging recently.
I lost my beautiful aunt Jenny.
Thank you to my blog/facebook friends for all of the love and supportive comments in regards to my aunt Jenny passing away from cancer last week.
I was with her when she passed after a 2 year battle with cancer.
She was only 48
She was not only beautiful on the outside but she was even more beautiful on the inside
She was the kindest and most caring person
She was a true angel on earth
but..
now she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
and that gives my family comfort.

(Jenny)

Be sure to take the time to let your family and friends know how much you love them.
Life is too short.
(  This song by U2 reminds me of my aunt )

I've been finding it hard to get inspired to blog about antiques, finds etc. when going through this loss.
I'm hoping to be inspired and creative again soon.
xo,
Rachel

  16. She has a beautiful face but I believe that she was probably even more beautiful inside...and that sustains you. It is hard to know why God chooses to bring someone Home so early when leaving this Earth leaves such a gaping hole. Blessings to you as you deal with the day to day anguish of missing her. xo Diana ps. I choose to believe that God's kingdom is a little bit brighter because of her.

  20. Oh Rachel.....I am so, so, sorry for your loss. And you are right, there is such comfort knowing a loved one (anyone)who passes,is with Jesus when they know Him as their Savior, But we still miss, them and mourn for them. I will pray for peace that passes all understanding....peace that only God can give you. Thank you for the reminder that we just don't know how long any of us have and not to let a moment go by without telling those around us that we love them! Praying, katrina
