( Shabby Chic )
I wish this kitchen and dining area was in my home
I like to browse Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic website for inspiration
The rooms are so beautiful and yet very liveable
~LOVE~
(Simply Me)
Another source of inspiration is my talented friend Tausha who has the beautiful blog Simply Me
Ever since I have found her blog I have slowly changed my style to more Shabby Chic.
Every post is full of such beauty and unique styling ~ I love how Tausha creates a gorgeous yet simply unfussy home
I find my style is changing to be more Shabby Chic and less farmhouse~(oh, I might have to change my blog name?!lol)
Have a wonderful day everyone!!
xo,
Rachel

Shabby chic is timeless...and fits beautifully in a farmhouse. Even Rachel Ashwell's style changes. When I first moved to Sea Cottage 5 yrs ago my decor was inspired by R.A in a shabby chic coastal way. Now I have put most of my shabby chic into the armoir for another season and have transitioned to the nordic coastal. One day, after my kids begin moving out, I plan to decorate a guess room in my collection of R.A shabby chic. I have 3 men in the house and the shabby chic decor was too feminine for them. The nordic coastal is working better to create a sanctuary for the whole family. ox I adore your home...I would feel at home at French Farmhouse 425!
ReplyDeleteLove this!
ReplyDeleteLove photos...:-)

Tausha is one talented gal when it comes to design, Rachel! Love the way she pulls things together. Funny that you should say you're slowly changing your decor. lol! Mine went from Shabby Chic to Beachhouse to Jeanne d'Arc! :) It's fun to change things up once in a while, isn't it? Almost like living in a new house.....well....almost.
