~ French Farmhouse Table ~

I wanted to share with you my new find

A very old farmhouse table

It is chippy and shabby

I love the old zinc metal bins on the bottom of the drawers

And I love the old drawer pulls

It has the best old patina

I purchased it at my favorite antique shop  Whimsical Whites
I will do a future post about Whimsical Whites

I think my new table is very French Farmhouse style
I might move it into the kitchen as a kitchen island possibly
(sorry about the poor image quality of my photos,I need a new camera!;)
lol

~Thanks again for all of your well wishes this past week~
I am feeling so much better ;)
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend friends
Hugs,
Rachel

It is THE PERFECT piece for your room or for an island...I love pieces that you can move from room to room.
I so wish we had stores like that around here...you'd think being that we are a farm state, we'd have more farmhouse antiques!

btw, I love your pictures!

Love your bakers table. Could you image making bread and biscuits on top of that? Your flour and sugar in the drawers? I think it would be great in the kitchen, using the drawers for potatoes, onions, linens...just so much character in these old tables and the tales they could tell.
Glad you are feeling better.

Hi Rachel,
I'm waiting for my husband to come home & take me out for dinner. :)

I am glad you are feeling better. Your French farmhouse table is SO beautiful and perfect for you! ♥ That is the perfect amount of weathered top - love it! My husband had to work today & my kids are off at my MIL, so I spent today painting my 1890 petit farmhouse table. It is looking pretty pretty & so French farmhouse.. one more final coat tomorrow & I can bring it out from the basement! :) I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
Blowing Kisses~

I love the vintage chair a lot. I want something like that. Did you paint it or make any changes to it before the picture was taken.
