~ My Kitchen Nook ~

Hi friends
I hope you're having a nice week so far.
I took a few photos of one of my favourite spaces in my 1930s home.
My kitchen nook...

Old chippy baskets in  a beautiful shade of blue filled with kitchen linens, old platter and bowls.

I like using prayer candles when entertaining guests.
They give such a nice glow and last a long time.

I use my Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic mugs daily.
I love the little crowns on them.

...
My kitchen nook is the perfect spot to read a favourite book and have coffee.
The original built ins are great for storing my collection of white serving pieces.
This space is always so light and airy which I love.

Do you have a favourite space in your home?

Have a wonderful week everyone!!
xo,
Rachel

this spot is enchanting. I can see why you love it so much!
My favorite spot is nestling on the bench in the entrance foyer, cup of tea in hand, watching the birds on the feeder....

Hi Rachel, hope you are enjoying your day. I think your kitchen nook is just delightful. I love the vintage cabinetry,it's so much nicer than the new stuff I think. So fresh the white with a touch of blue.

gorgeous Rachel! There's so many things I love about it. I can imagine how lovely it must be sitting there in the morning with the peaceful light.

Are those candle sconces? Oh, I would love to find a pair just like them!

My favorite spot in my home is the window bench in my dining room. I could sit and look out the windows all day. :)

Rachel, That is just beautiful. I love your kitchen. I'll bet that was all really dark wood when it started out. It looks so nice all painted white. Very bright and lovely- xo Diana

I love this space, too! I love the little crowns on your RA coffee mugs, how fun to sip coffee or tea out of those. The chippy, pale blue basket is gorgeous. I love my front (formal living room) room in my house. It is so girly and shabby chic/farmhouse.

Your nook looks like something right out of a vintage French home, Rachel. It's just so quaint and beautiful! Your switch to shabby chicness has been subtle, but oh so stunning. I could spend all day looking through your photos! ♥
