~ Pastels & Fleurs ~

Hi friends
I hope you all are doing wonderful!
I took some photos today of pastels and fleurs around my home...

 Pastels and fleurs...
I took alot of photos...

Whenever I go antiquing I always look for antique millinery fleurs...
If they aren't the colour I love I just use rit dye and dye them...

So beautiful....I hope you enjoy the photos.....

A favourite lavender sewing box full of millinery...

Wilted and faded pink petals...
still so pretty to me...
 ~ Peace ~

Fleur heart....

Two favourites....
Clam shell and fleurs...

(this one hangs on the wall above my living room console)

Beautiful union jack throws made by my friend Sherry...
love the pastel colours and the little fleurs...
(this one is the one we use as a throw)

I don't mind the wrinkles... so cozy..! ;)

Thanks so much Sherry <3

A simple vignette..
I'm always buying fresh fleurs....
I just love using "fleurs" instead of "flowers"!
lol....

Have a wonderful week everyone!!
xo,
Rachel

Gorgeous, Rachel!!! You need to publish a book, too, girl. :) Your photography skills are amazing! My heart just melted over those sweet milinary fleurs. Did you use Rit in "Petal Pink" on them....? I just picked some of that up yesterday. Any tips you can give me on dyeing...?

Rachel, Beautiful photos of your flowers...very creative! I love the Union Jack throw... I tried to make a Union Jack Flora Doora several times and just can't get the colors right, so I am very impressed with yours.

Hope all is well in beautiful Washington!
