*(this is a repost of one of my favourite White Wednesday posts)
This past weekend I was able to find and purchase six antique french bistro chairs
I found them on Craigslist for a fair price *(since some of you ladies have emailed me and asked, I paid $300 for six, which ends up being $50 a chair~I have seen new ones without the character and charm for alot more) and the seller was very nice which helped ;)
I posted an ad on craigslist asking anyone who was interested in selling their french bistro chairs to contact me and the seller contacted me within 3 days. { Just be sure if you meet up with sellers thru craigslist to meet in a safe location like a coffee shop etc to keep yourself safe. Never invite them to your home unless someone else is with you or you have all of their info. (just my motherly instinct to let you know) lol }
I LOVE the old chippy patina on this one
It is a chippy mint green color
These two have the original owners name on the back of them
I think that gives them so much character
I think Cash agrees ;)
*( I just had to repost this pic of him)
I am going to have to seal them so the paint doesnt keep flaking off
I think they add a nice french farmhouse touch to my dining room
*(update: this pic was taken before my husband made me the wonderful chippy white farm table out of our old fence, so here is a pic of the new table with the chairs)
I love how the chairs look against the chippy white table
I have two more in my entry way
Perfect for my husband and sons to sit and take off/put on shoes
Practical and pretty with a chippy green patina
I have a chippy black one that I am going to put in my sons room
Perfect spot for one of my lavender pillows from Maria at
Dreamy Whites
Cash is my WHITE this week
Isnt he precious?! And he fits in so well with my decor ;)
xo
Hope you are having a wonderful week
Hugs,
Rachel
