I recently purchased this beautiful antique french toile fabric box from a seller in France

I took a few photos to share with you

I love french toile

A touch of red is nice in my home decor full of whites

I think its such a pretty addition to my french farmhouse decor

~ Pastels and Whites ~ Fleurs ~ A favourite blog too..~

Hi Friends

I love the mixture of the pastels with the fleurs and all of my whites

This next photo shows my Easter Mantel vignette ~ And more fleurs ( I like to use "fleurs" more than "flowers")  ~  French is so much prettier to write  and I only know a few words .. lol

~ Fleurs ~ Whimsical Whites ~

If you know me you know I love flowers ~ Fleurs

My friend who is the owner of Whimsical Whites did my sister in law's flowers for her wedding last weekend. I used some of the flowers in my french zinc pots and took a few photos today.

~ French Linen Lavender Pillows ~

I created a vignette using my favourite french linen lavender pillows

I loved mixing the roses, old french bottle and antique french parcel with the lavender pillows and the antique chippy wooden garden trug

The glass with the beautiful detailing is actually a plastic tumbler I purchased at Target recently

~ A Thrifty French Farmhouse Find ~ (A Repost)

As you all probably know I LOVE thrifting

A few of my favorite thriftshops are Goodwill and Value Village

I usually go thrifting a few times a week if I have spare time while running errands etc

I was so excited when I found this vintage zinc flower bucket at Goodwill

And for $1.99 I had to bring it home with me

It is perfect for dried or fresh cut flowers and fits in perfectly with my french farmhouse style

If you've never tried thrifting you should visit a local thriftshop and see what you find

~ French Canning Jars ~

Ever since seeing old french canning jars on Maria's blog Dreamy Whites I have been interested in them.

When I found four of them that an ebay seller listed I knew I had to buy them

I'm so glad I did

Each jar is unique and so much prettier and larger than I expected

I love the different hues of green
