~ Simple beauty ~

I took a few more photos of my roses today.
Yes...the same Valentine roses (previous post)
Wilting...fading...yet still so beautiful to me.

I'm always changing things up and decorating, so I put the roses in my living room.
I love the natural light in this room.
I like to keep my flowers, especially roses, as long as possible.
Simple beauty...

Rachel

Could anything be more perfect than the color of these roses? Just gorgeous! Hugs, Leena

So beautiful pictures, Rachel.
I wonder that little table beside the sofa. Is that from India? It looks just the same I have, which I am not allowed to paint (my husband).

The best part about working in a flower shop is that at the end of the day I get to take home all the flowers that the florist thinks aren't good enough to sell...all the wilted and faded roses I can gather from the trash can! :)
Yours are beautiful! I love the color and aren't they best when the petals start dropping...

They are beautiful Rachel! If you hang them upside down in a dark space they will dry perfect. I like pick roses dried the best. Or just do a few. Then you can enjoy them even longer!

Sometimes I think faded roses are even more beautiful than the day they were cut. I love to see my roses on the bush in their last days before their petals fall.

Thanks so much friends!! :)

* The little side table I believe is from India..I found it at a thriftstore for a few dollars.I thought it was pretty and unique.

* I dont dry my roses..I have tried but I cant seem to get it right!? Any suggestions?? ;)

*The sofa and chair aren't RASC, I wish I could afford Rachel Ashwells, but mine are the Ikea ones.I have had them for a few years and they are really comfortable and affordable.I always buy extra Ikea slipcovers so when one is washing they are still covered. :)

* Rachel Ashwells books are my favourite for inspiration! I think I have every book of hers.

~ Have a beautiful day everyone!! ~
