~Slowly but surely~

(A vignette with pretty tulips)

Slowly but surely I am getting back into my normal routine
My husband has been taking such good care of me since I had my procedure
He has been making all of the meals, cleaning the house and doing loads and loads of laundry
He even made a cozy bed for me downstairs and placed the pretty pink tulips (in photo)
and a favorite candle of mine next to me on my nighstand while recovering
I thought that was so sweet of him
He said today that he is actually looking forward to going back to work tomorrow
(with a smirk on his face)
That must mean that us stay at home moms do ALOT of work
I am very thankful for my husband and I am going to miss him taking care of me ;)
I hope you had a wonderful weekend friends
Thanks so much for all of your nice comments and well wishes from my last post
I will be visiting your blogs soon
Hugs,
Rachel

Rest up and take care of yourself! Your husband does sound very sweet...I love that he left tulips and a candle. :)

See you when you feel better ~

Bless your husband for all his caring and housework! Hope you are doing well and not too sore. What a sweet man you have to make sure you have something so pretty to look at while you mend. I am sure he is going to think he's on vacation when he goes back to work. These guys just don't realize all the work it takes to keep a house going until they have to do it themselves.
Blessings coming your way- Tete

Rachel...
So happy to see you pop up on my blog reader.

I work in the medical field...those first few days after a procedure
(or surgery) are so important for the recovery...You have a stellar man taking care of you!

Best of love and healing wishes!

I hope you are up and about soon...but don't rush it. Husbands can really be helpful and I do think they realize pretty quickly how difficult it is to manage a home and children! Mine sure did when I was in the hospital a few years back.

Take care, sweetie!

XO,
Janie

Your husband is definitely a keeper...actually he reminds me of my husband who is just as sweet. The tulips are inspiring too...it is still pretty cold here in Ontario and I long for my tulips to come up through the garden. Take care of yourself and try not to do too much until you are really ready.
Cheers,
Carrie

Hi Rachel, I am glad you are being cared for by your sweet loving hubby! ;-) It sounds like you will be on the mend soon. I hope you had a great new book like "Romantic Prairie Style" to pour through while you've been recovering?!
Take care!

Your husband sounds LOVELY!! How sweet of him to add such thoughtful touches that YOU love (as opposed to what he thinks would look nice). Aaaaaah! I hope you get better very soon, chickadee.
