~ Christmas ~

Hi friends
Sorry I have been a bit absent from blogging lately
There is so much going on this time of year and my lack of blogging reflects it.
I've slowly but surely been adding some touches of Christmas around our home
I love decorating with fresh greenery and like to keep things simple

I purchased this sacred heart from my favourite shop
It goes perfect with our Christmas decor

Little touches of greenery here and there
very simple
I love mixing rustic with pretty

I purchased these pretty little books when I attended the 2nd Saturdayz fleamarket this past weekend with my friend Tracie

My favourite part of our Christmas decor is the handmade school ornaments our sons have made
Our Christmas tree is full of a variety of handmade and sentimental ornaments that all have special memories
Our tree isn't vintage or shabby chic style but it is perfect for us.

~ Have a  Very Merry Christmas ~
Remember the true reason for the season
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
xo,
Rachel

Hi Rachel!
Catching up on a few blogs myself as I too, have been blogging a bit less. Your holiday decor is beautiful. I just love your home. Love the white stockings hanging from the manatel I hope to make some ruffled white and gray stockings this week. It's all very charming and I agree, the best ornaments were made by tiny hands.

Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Jami

I've missed your lovely posts but I'm happy that you're spending your time doing more important things this season. Your Christmas home is so beautiful ... I love the mix of simple and natural with elegance. I especially love your mantle. By mistake, I gave all my mercury glass candleholders away. Big Mistake! Hope your holiday season is a beautiful one ~

Hi Rachel~ I love the handmade ornament of your son. I think all schools must do some variation of that one. I have a ornament almost like it with my son in it. Those books you purchased are so pretty. WHat a great find:)
